The stringers were fabricated in studio then bolted into place. The loft railing was fabricated in two sections in studio. The vertical posts were notched to rest on sub-floor and hang over the front of the loft header. The main section has glass infill with a removable top bar to allow glass installation. After installation of the main frame, metal plate was plug welded in front of header then sanded smooth to cover drywall and attachment bolts.
